Week 2 – Kingdom of expectations

For as much as the kingdom of Rome loomed large over the Jews, there was something else.  Another kingdom at play.  It’s called the kingdom of expectations and it’s a doozy.  To this very day, many of us miss Jesus because He doesn’t fit our expectations of a Saviour.  We must learn to see Him, and to embrace Him as Saviour in our lives.
